about me:

I was born and raised between a factory and a cornfield in a quintessential Midwestern town. As soon as I could, I moved and bounced between San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and a few places in between. I soaked up the electricity of NYC, the practicality of Chicago, and the physicality of San Francisco. I’m still figuring out my love affair with Los Angeles—and it’s been a blast! Eventually, I found myself landing in Palm Springs.

My career started by chance. A close photographer friend once said, “I love your apartments—every time I visit, you’ve rearranged the furniture! Why don’t you become a photo stylist?” I was stunned: People get paid for this? The idea that I could make a living making things beautiful felt like a gift from the gods.

I began assisting by taping down rugs, steaming sheets, and carrying endless stacks of books—lots of books. I absorbed every lesson my mentors shared and will forever be grateful for the wisdom they passed on. After a year, they kicked me out of the nest with a warm, “Fly, be free!” And I did.

I cut my teeth at Pottery Barn’s digital studio, folding sheets, making beds, and setting tabletops. It was the perfect place to learn, grow, and discover my voice as a stylist. Fifteen years later, every shoot still brings the same excitement and joy.

When I’m not fluffing pillows and fine-tuning spaces, you can find me on the tennis court—playing a lot of tennis. It’s in my DNA, and I’ve come to see life through the lens of the game: It starts with “love.” If you miss your first serve, you get a second chance. A mis-hit can still win the point. Every moment is a new opportunity. I celebrate the wins and learn from the losses, both on and off the court.
